Lot Pricing Information
"Sítio Coffe Mel is located at Fazenda Gerais in the city
of Piatã, in the Chapada Diamantina region in the state of
Bahia.
The producer and her husband acquired the property 10 years ago and
started growing coffee shortly afterwards. They work with a system
of familial agriculture.
The lot participating in this competition is made up of only coffee
picked fully ripe and placed in tanks of water for three days. Next
it was pulped and put in water jugs for a further seven days, after
which the coffee was taken to the covered patio for drying. After
drying, it was carefully stored in a suitable place.
Jucimeire and her family (her husband and children) handle all the
work on the farm together, always concerning themselves with
offering quality.
The producer’s husband placed second in 2022 and seventh in
2018 in the Cup of Excellence Brazil competition and Jucimeire
herself has been among the 20 finalists in the
3Corações Florada Premiada competition four
times."
