High in the mountains of Mozonte, within the Dipilto and Jalapa
Mountain Range, amidst a cool, rainy microclimate and altitudes
reaching up to 1,720 masl (meters above sea level), our passion for
creating a different kind of coffee was born. In 2015, through
Coffe Libre, S.A., we acquired Finca La Furiosa with a clear dream:
to explore the extraordinary potential of these lands and prove
that Nicaragua can offer world-class coffees. While other farms
cultivated traditional varieties, we decided to take a risk by
planting varieties from Panama, Colombia, Kenya, and Ethiopia,
turning our farm into a true garden of varieties and
experimentation.
Our Ethiopia 74158 variety has gifted us with unique profiles
featuring floral and citrus notes, along with an exceptionally
clean cup. Our coffee matures slowly thanks to the farm's climate,
allowing the cherries to develop more complex and delicate flavors.
Each lot is prepared through careful harvesting, controlled
fermentations, and processes designed to highlight the signature
quality of Finca La Furiosa.
Participating in more than seven editions of the "Cup of
Excellence Nicaragua" has been a fundamental part of our history,
because we believe that Nicaraguan coffee deserves international
recognition. Today, we work with demanding markets in Asia and
Europe that value our commitment to excellence. When you buy coffee
