Under David's stewardship, Finca El Naranjo employs
environmentally friendly practices, including the use of organic
compost, manual harvesting of ripe cherries, and careful drying
processes to ensure bean quality. His dedication to excellence was
recognized in the 2025 Cup of Excellence Mexico, where his coffee,
processed in collaboration with Cari Coffee, achieved 12th place
with a score of 86.64 points.
Cari Coffee is an organization that supports coffee producers like
David by providing training and resources to implement sustainable
farming practices and improve post-harvest processing. Through
their partnership, David has enhanced the quality of his coffee,
