Jeniffer Iveth Madrid Chávez (Finca El Rubí)
Jeniffer Madrid, a fourth-generation producer, stands at the helm
of Finca El Rubí in San Luis Planes, Santa Bárbara,
at an altitude of 1,400 meters. To Jeniffer, coffee is the bridge
that connects her family’s roots with their future.
Her journey began in 2019, inheriting the land from her
grandfather. "Taking over the farm as a young woman while balancing
university studies was a challenge," she recalls. "But with faith,
the support of my family, and a committed team, I managed to finish
my degree and dedicate myself fully to the land". Jeniffer’s
excellence has been recognized multiple times, including 1st place
in the Parainema Catracha category in 2025 and 5th place this year.
Sharing this year's podium with three other lots from her family
makes the achievement even sweeter, a beautiful symbol of their
shared commitment to high-quality coffee.
