Nelson Rene Ramírez Sosa (Finca Andro'z – Lote Amada)

Since 2010, Nelson Ramírez has been a dedicated producer of specialty coffee in El Cielito, Santa Bárbara. For Nelson, the Cup of Excellence is the ultimate seal of quality, certifying the year-long efforts of his entire farm team.

He views this recent fourth-place finish as a source of great motivation, but the true heart of this lot is its people. The coffee was harvested by the Sánchez family, starting on February 13, 2026—a deeply significant date. It was the first day that 74-year-old Doña Amada participated in the harvest after losing her husband, Don Guillermo, in January. Her strength moved Nelson so deeply that he named the lot "Lote AMADA" in her honor. A percentage of the auction proceeds will go directly to her, a gesture of gratitude for the years of hard work demonstrated by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. As Nelson continues his journey in specialty coffee, he remains committed to this spirit of community and consistent excellence.
