The name of "Finca Vista Hermosa" is derived from the fact that it is located within the highest mountains in the region and allows you to appreciate an impressive landscape of coffee plots, surrounded by forests and birds that adorn nature. The Hernández family has been dedicated to the production of coffee for 75 years and the love for coffee farming has been inherited from generation to generation, as a family legacy, producing the best coffee in the Region.

The people in charge of founding Vista Hermosa have been Mr. Edgar Orlando Hernández Lucas and his wife Meyri Yuzary Villatoro Roblero, who have worked hard in the coffee process, seeking every day to improve the quality of the aromatic, to stay at the level of competitiveness At a national and international level, this culture will continue to be fostered in their children, since interest in coffee is instilled in them from an early age.

In the wet mill where the coffee is processed, clean water is used directly from springs, the Honey Waters are deposited in Pits created for this purpose, signs have been placed inside the plots that prohibit the hunting of animals and the felling of trees.

For the founders it is a pride to be able to mention that during the year 2020, their coffee obtained sixth place in the Higland Huehue Regional competition, in the year 2022 the farm obtained twelve place in said competition and for In 2023, the farm won first place in the Huehuetenango regional competition, an event organized by ANACAFE. This motivated us to improve our processing techniques, and throughout 2024, 2025, and 2026, we remained among the top five in Huehuetenango. Also in 2023, we decided to participate in the "Cup of Excellence" competition in Guatemala, consistently placing within the top ten in this prestigious coffee contest. Over the years, we have experimented with processes such as Natural, Honey, and Hydro Honey, as well as washed methods, and the experience has been very positive.

As producers, we are looking for new international clients to establish future business relationships and thereby showcase the high quality of Guatemalan coffee.
