My name is Luis Alberto Balladarez Moncada. Our beginning and
history with coffee stem from a family tradition that has been tied
to the mountains of Ocotal for generations. At Finca
Bendición de Dios, I have dedicated my life to producing a
coffee that reflects not only quality, but also the hard work,
faith, and passion with which we approach every harvest. To me,
coffee represents more than just a crop; it is a family heritage
that we have strengthened for over 100 years, learning to respect
the land and care for every detail of the process. When someone
buys our coffee, they take home a cup born from experience,
commitment, and the pride of producing Nicaraguan specialty
coffee.
On our farm, we work meticulously from the picking of the cherries
to the final drying of the bean, always seeking to highlight the
coffee's finest characteristics. We select only the fruits at their
optimal point of ripeness and carry out controlled processes that
preserve cleanliness, sweetness, and quality in every cup.
Participating in the Cup of Excellence has motivated us to keep
perfecting our work and to prove that Nicaragua produces coffees
capable of competing among the best in the world. Our coffee stands
out for its consistency, its artisanal management, and the care we
pour into every single stage.
