Teanzul Farm, located in front of Ixpaco Lagoon and the Tecuanburro Volcano, is dedicated
to the production of high-quality coffee. The farm cultivates coffee varieties including
Geisha, Pacamara, Sidra, Ruiru, SL 28, and others. It operates two wet mills for processing
coffee cherries: one dedicated exclusively to micro-lots and another for commercial
production. The farm also provides a school for employees’ children and a health center for
general medical care. All coffee is grown under shade using a diverse range of forest tree
species. In addition, the farm collaborates with World Coffee Research (WCR) in
establishing plots to monitor the adaptation of different coffee clones in the region.
