Founded in 1948 by Don Osbaldo Pérez y Pérez,
Finca Flor del Café is a family legacy rooted in the
mountains of Agua Dulce, Cuilco, Huehuetenango. What began as a
dream nurtured by hard work, perseverance, and a deep respect for
the land has grown into a multi-generational coffee farm dedicated
to producing exceptional coffees while preserving the values upon
which it was founded.
Today, the farm is managed by his son, Osbaldo Pérez, who
continues the vision of his father with the same passion and
commitment. For more than seven decades, the Pérez family
has cultivated coffee in this remote and privileged region, passing
down knowledge, traditions, and a profound connection to the land
from one generation to the next.
The story of Flor del Café is not only one of coffee
production but also of family, resilience, and stewardship. Every
harvest reflects the dedication of generations who have cared for
these mountains and worked tirelessly to produce coffees that honor
both their heritage and the unique terroir of Huehuetenango.
This Gesha Washed lot represents the culmination of that legacy,
combining exceptional genetics, careful cultivation, and meticulous
processing to express the elegance and complexity for which Gesha
coffees are celebrated around the world.
