Finca Santa Felisa is a fourth-generation family coffee farm in
Acatenango, Chimaltenango, established in 1904. Today, it is
operated by the Meneses family as a regenerative agroforestry
system, integrating specialty coffee production with the
conservation of 20 hectares of native forest. The farm sits between
1,500 and 1,800 meters above sea level, facing the Acatenango,
Yepocapa and Fuego volcanoes, with volcanic soils and natural shade
that give its coffees their distinctive cup profile.
The farm combines applied coffee science with care for its land
and community. Its varietal portfolio includes Pacamara, Geisha
2722, SL28, Bourbon, Typica, Laurina, Sidra, Starmaya, Sudan Rume
and Anacafé 14, among others. Processing is carried out
on-farm, with natural and washed protocols developed through years
of fermentation research and quality control.
Santa Felisa is a long-standing presence in the Guatemala Cup of
Excellence, with multiple placements over the past decade,
including the National Winner (1st place) award in 2017. This 2026
result — 8th place with a Pacamara Natural — continues
that record and reflects the farm’s ongoing commitment to
quality, sustainability and the people who make each harvest
possible.
