Fabio Caballero proudly represents the fifth generation of a Honduran coffee-producing family universally recognized for its deep, rich tradition in the specialty coffee world. The passion and heritage passed down to him are palpable in every lot he prepares, beautifully summarizing a family's legacy of effort, dedication, and profound love for coffee. After completing his university studies, Fabio embarked on his own journey, becoming an independent producer in 2020.

He began by managing the farms of his grandfather, Don Fabio Caballero, and currently co-manages estates like La Salvaje, where the team implements highly innovative processes without ever abandoning their cherished family roots. Through wise decisions, fresh ideas, and an unwavering daily commitment, Fabio has proven his immense value, established his own vision, and earned the deep trust of a family steeped in coffee history. As the winner of the Honduras Exótica category in the 2025 COE edition, Fabio believes that standing in the top 5 of this prestigious competition not only validates the tireless hard work of his entire team but also serves as a grand showcase that opens the doors to the global specialty coffee world.
