I am Luis Darwin Abarca Monsalve, 23 years old, from the
community of Agua Colorada in the district of Huabal. I grew up
among coffee plantations, learning from my father the love and
respect for this land that gives us so much.
Since 2016, I have been in charge of Romerillo Farm, a family
legacy I received as an inheritance and now care for with pride. I
cultivate varieties such as Caturra and Yellow Bourbon, applying
oxidation and controlled fermentation processes to highlight the
best attributes in the cup.
My dream is to continue improving the quality of my coffee and to
show that the new generation is also committed to excellence and
the sustainability of Peruvian coffee.
