Finca Don Jaime is named after its owner, Jaime Guevara. Located in the Alotepec Metapán mountain range, in the department of Chalatenango, San Ignacio, Chalatenango Norte, El Salvador, I cultivate coffee on 7 manzanas (approximately 1.7 acres) of land, a combination of Pacamara, Pacas, SL-28, Gesha, and new varieties of Laurina and Sidra. I have been working in the world of coffee for almost 25 years, ever since I asked my father how to produce it. I love working on my farm; it's what I love to do.
I have participated in the Taza de Excelencia (Cup of Excellence) competition on multiple occasions.
My farm is at an altitude of 1500 to 1600 meters above sea level. On my farm, something very important is that we avoid using pesticides to control weeds. All my coffees are very carefully selected to obtain the
best quality. Slow drying for up to 45 days on African beds, to obtain a quality coffee and durability in the warehouse, this lot represents work, effort, commitment, which my desire is to continue improving in each harvest.
