AROMAS DEL ANIZ
JHON SAENZ PALOMINO
22
Aromas del Anís Farm, located on the slopes of the
majestic Apu Choqesafra, is a nine-year-old farm distinguished by
its mineral-rich volcanic soils and abundant organic matter,
elements that enhance the quality and complexity of every coffee
bean.
The cold air descending from the Choqesafra glacier slows the
ripeness of the coffee, contributing sweetness, balance, and the
unique notes that define each harvest.
Aromas del Anís is a family legacy. The farm belonged to
Jhon’s grandfather, also a coffee producer, who entrusted him
with this land so he could continue the legacy and keep the
coffee-growing tradition alive from one generation to the
next.
Each cup reflects the family’s effort, the richness of the
soil, and the deep connection with the mountain.
