Lot NW: Sítio Vale do Amanhecer
Lot Pricing Information
Sítio Vale do Amanhecer is located in Soledade de Minas,
Minas Gerais, in the Posses neighborhood. It measures 3.58 hectares
in total. In January 2018, 3700 seedlings were planted on two
hectares, with 3m x 1m spacing, of the Arara variety, which is a
100% resistant and productive variety.
The annual production is around 55 bags of coffee, which are
commercialized by Cocarive. Cocarive also helps the producer with
guidance on crop treatment through free consultancy by agronomist
technicians. In addition to care for the trees, post-harvest
processing is done to ensure the highest quality of the coffee
produced in the harvest.
Relying on the help of his children and his wife, producer Alcides
de Oliveira Neto manages the farm with family farming and, in 2024,
the harvest totaled 67 bags of unprocessed coffee.
Drying is done on the patio, with the coffee being raked all day
to ensure uniform drying and that the coffee arrives on the
consumer’s table with the sensorial characteristics of the
Mantiqueira de Minas Designation of Origin region.
