Rancho El Separo

SenΓ©n Sampieri Bulbarela

7

My name is Senen Sampieri Bulbarela. I am an engineer, and I have dedicated my entire life to the fields. Since I was a child, my father taught me with discipline and love how to work in coffee farming. Rancho El Separo is the name that 'Nonno' Senén Sampieri gave to our estate—this land where our highest quality coffee beans grow. My father, Zenén Sampieri, continued working the coffee and the trees on this farm until it reached my hands. Now, I care for every single coffee tree just as my grandfather and father did, with deep love and a sense of responsibility to improve every aspect of the farm.

After working for some time, the Rancho El Separo project was born from the profound love for coffee of two growers: Monika and Senén. This is a family project. A tribute to more than three generations who have dedicated their lives to coffee farming. In 2021, driven by curiosity, love for our crop, and the need to innovate, we decided to dive into the world of specialty coffee. Since then, every new process we develop allows us to discover another dimension of this crop that we are so passionate about.

On the farm, we work with a deeply committed team. Gaby, Candi, and Mando are some of our best workers, always attentive to what the trees need. At the mill, Chilo and Palomo support us 24/7 to ensure every bean comes out in peak condition. Charo is in charge of sorting the green coffee, making sure we always deliver it completely defect-free. Without them, and the entire team behind us, our Cup of Excellence awards simply wouldn't be possible
