Los Cipreses Farm was born from a dream that Rosa Pintó wanted to make a reality. It is located in the Alotepec Metapan Mountain Range, in the department of Chalatenango, specifically in San Ignacio, Northern Chalatenango, El Salvador.
For many years, I have worked alongside my husband, Jaime Guevara, on his farm, Finca Don Jaime. A few years ago, Jaime encouraged me to become involved in the world of coffee. He leased me a portion of his farm so that I could develop my own project, and that is how Finca Los Cipreses was born. The farm consists of three manzanas planted with Pacamara, Pacas, and Geisha varieties.
Working hand in hand with my husband, we strive to select the finest coffees to participate in Cup of Excellence competitions. Our coffees are dried on African beds under shade, using a slow drying process that can last up to 45 days. This method helps ensure better quality and longer shelf life during storage.
This lot represents hard work, dedication, commitment, and a dream. For me, Finca Los Cipreses is a dream come true. My goal is to continue improving with each harvest and to keep producing exceptional coffees.
