Lica Coffee Estate is a boutique, small-scale coffee farm located in Ban Mae Daet Noi, Galyani Vadhana, Chiang Mai. Founded and developed by "Athens" a next-generation farmer born and raised in this region, the estate is driven by a deep commitment to elevating Thai coffee throughout the entire supply chain—from tree to cup.
Situated at an altitude of approximately 1,200–1,250 meters above sea level, our coffee is meticulously shade-grown under the canopy of old-growth forest trees. This method preserves natural ecosystems and allows the coffee cherries to ripen slowly, resulting in a remarkably distinct quality and a complex flavor profile.
Due to limited water resources within the community, Lica Coffee Estate has refined its expertise primarily in Natural and Anaerobic processing. We continuously experiment with innovative processing methods to highlight our unique terroir and, more importantly, to add value to the crops of our local farmers.Operating on the principles of Direct Trade, we handle everything ourselves—from cultivation and processing to shipping directly to our partners. We prioritize transparency and fair pricing so that every stakeholder can thrive together.
Beyond coffee quality, the community is at the heart of what we do. We donate 5 Baht for every kilogram of coffee sold to support school lunch programs for children at Ban Mae Daet Noi School.
