La Rinconada Farm is located in the district of Inkawasi,
province of La Convención, Cusco region, about six hours
from the city of Quillabamba. The journey to the farm crosses two
mountain passes that offer fascinating landscape views capable of
captivating any traveler who ventures into the heart of coffee
country.
As you descend, the scenery changes: vibrant nature, surrounded by
wild flora and fauna, creates a welcoming atmosphere and a unique
microclimate that gives exceptional attributes to our Geisha
coffee, renowned for its high quality and complexity in the
cup.
The farm lies on the slopes of the Choquesafra, Chuntawillka, and
Warwaqasa snow-capped mountains, natural guardians that protect
this fertile land. Here, agricultural work is carried out
sustainably and with respect for the environment, preserving the
ecological richness of the area.
I began cultivating coffee in 2018, motivated by my parents, who
inspired me to dedicate myself to coffee production. Since then,
coffee has become an essential part of my life, a path of
continuous learning and growth.
The plantation began producing two years after being established,
and from the start I have applied selective harvesting, always
seeking high-quality beans and better cup scores. There were no
previous plantations on this plot; I established it myself with the
Geisha variety, known for its excellent profitability and
outstanding sensory profile.
Thanks to this project, I have been able to improve the quality of
life for my family and myself. Today, growing coffee represents not
only a livelihood, but also a source of pride, development, and
personal fulfillment.
