My name is Mario José González Rodríguez,
and I am the producer of Finca La Aurora, located in the mountains
of Dipilto at 1,600 meters above sea level. The farm spans 18
manzanas, 13 of which are cultivated with coffee varieties such as
Catuai, Pacamara, Ovata, and Catimor. Six years ago, we started
this project with great enthusiasm and the goal of producing
high-quality coffees that represent the potential of our mountains
and our family's hard work.
Since we began planting coffee, our focus has been on improving
every harvest and every process within the farm. Thanks to that
effort, we have participated for two years in the Cup of Excellence
competition, achieving fifteenth place on both occasions. For us,
these recognitions serve as motivation to keep growing and to
continue sharing coffees that reflect the dedication, high
altitude, and unique conditions of Finca La Aurora.
