Founded in 1887 and nestled in the heart of the Serra da
Mantiqueira, Fazenda Rio Verde stands as the oldest agricultural
treasure of our company. Surrounded by lush, untouched forests,
crystal-clear springs, and interconnected ecological trails, this

The farm is home to an extensive environmental monitoring center,
where we carry out a range of essential activities —
including strict control of water resources, cultivation of native
seedlings for reforestation, the keeping of wild bees, and
continuous monitoring of the surrounding fauna and flora. The soil
in this region is particularly special due to its richness in
minerals, organic matter, and high clay content, making it one of
the farm’s most valuable assets.
