Fazenda Canastra is one of the properties that make up Fazenda São Pedro Specialty Coffees. The story of this farm began in 2019, when Edson, a traditional orange producer, decided to diversify his business. After extensive research and study of agribusiness opportunities, he became fascinated by the world of specialty coffee — a challenging yet promising market defined by its high standards of quality and precision. With determination and vision, he embarked on the ambitious project of producing specialty coffees at scale, bringing excellence to every stage of production.
The search for the ideal location led Edson to the microregion of Tapira, where the Cerrado Mineiro meets the Serra da Canastra. This privileged area, situated at more than 1,200 meters of altitude, offers unique natural conditions for growing exceptional coffees. With rich, fertile soils, balanced climate, abundant water, and breathtaking landscapes, the fields of Fazenda Canastra thrive in an environment that directly contributes to the production of outstanding, high-quality beans. The balance between tradition and technology is one of the farm’s pillars of success, combining years of acquired knowledge with the most modern agricultural techniques.
