Located in Alishan of Chiayi County, Alluring Scent Coffee Estate is situated in a valley with unique ecology and particularly short days. Owner Jhao-Yun Wu comes from a family of edible vegetable farmers, but she decided to switch to coffee cultivation when Typhoon Morakot destroyed access roads to her village and ruined an entire year’s harvest. She now grows, harvests, and processes SL-34, Typica, Geisha, and a small amount of 74110. When the weather is nice, she travels to nearby tourist centers to peddle her freshly brewed coffees.
